Walking
Papa Stour boasts beautiful cliffs, epic geos, stunning stacks and some of the best sea caves in Europe. It is a Special Area of Conservation and is teeming with wildlife. With nesting sea birds, otters, seals and plenty of Shetland sheep, walking is one of the best ways to explore the island. Historically there is a traditional freedom of access across the isles, but remember to follow the Scottish Outdoor Access Code to ensure they can continue to be enjoyed and protected. Please also respect the land and property of the island residents.
